After losing the squad RCB skipper said they picked the side keeping both the conditions in mind and is confident of doing well. Virat Kohli said: “We were going in with both the equations in mind. We would have liked to bowl as well. We chose the combination keeping in mind in case we batted first. I think it is important not to think too much and do the basics right. Well he is a wonderful addition to our squad (Shane Watson). He is brilliant with the bowl as well. We have batting till No. 7 and so we do not have to rely on two, three players. We have got two seamers, two spinners and two all-rounders.”
Like the trend has been in the IPL 9 thus far having won the toss Warner said they wanted to bowl first since they have a really good bowling attack. On his batting position, the left-hander said he will bat at the top of the order with Dhawan. David Warner said: “We are going to have a bowl. It is a very nice batting wicket. I am going to be at the top of the order this time. Mustafizur showed his expertise in the World Cup (World T20). We are going with 3 quicks tonight.”
Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli spun the toss in the 4th match of IPL 9. The visitings skipper David Warner of Sunrisers Hyderabad called the correct side, won the toss and decided to bowl first.
