IPL 9, Match 6: GL v RPS – Statistical Highlights

In the first battle between the newcomers of IPL, Gujarat Lions (GL) emerged victorious at their home ground Saurashtra Cricket Association, Rajkot against Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS). After electing to bat, RPS posted 163/5 in their 20 overs despite being 100/1 after 12 overs.

Aaron Finch and Brendon McCullum started off the chase with a thunderous effort. They both scored at a quick pace before getting out for 50 and 49 respectively.
