Punjab skipper KL Rahul led his side’s charge with the willow. On a pitch that was challenging to bat on, Rahul applied himself and scored a patient 60* off 52 deliveries. Apart from Rahul, the likes of Mayank Agarwal and Chris Gayle also contributed vital runs.

While Agarwal scored 25, the ‘Universe Boss’ helped himself to 43* off 35 deliveries as Punjab posted their second victory in the 14th IPL edition. On the bowling front, Rahul Chahar picked up the only wicket to fall for the Punjab Kings (PBKS) side. Chahar also bowled an economical spell and gave away just 19 runs in the 4 overs that he bowled. Rohit Sharma’s half-century propels Mumbai Indians (MI) to 131/6
