Irfan Pathan gives back to a Twitter user for calling him Virat Kohli's 'Chamcha'

It is a known fact that India suffered a massive defeat in hands of New Zealand in the final contest of the World Test Championship. After yet another loss in a crucial ICC match, fingers have started pointing towards India and team management. Even Virat Kohli is also facing the brunt of not taking the team over the line in a significant fixture.

In the same line, many fans on social media started criticizing Virat Kohli. In fact, one of the Twitter users pointed the finger at India’s former all-rounder Irfan Pathan for praising Kohli without any reason. He framed Pathan as ‘Chamcha’ for unnecessarily lauding the Indian skipper.

The Twitter user added that is Pathan getting any sort of monetary benefit for constantly lauding Kohli? However, the former great was quick to revert and added that why wouldn’t anyone praise ‘the best player in the world.’ Pathan backed the ace batsman by calling him the best player in the world.

It has to be noted that many fans believed that the 32-year-old was responsible for scoring big for India and take the team over the line.
