Irfan Pathan wishes 'yaar' Yusuf Pathan on his birthday

The swashbuckling Indian all-rounder Yusuf Pathan is celebrating his 36th birthday today as the wishes are pouring in for the cricketer on the social media. His camaraderie with his younger brother Irfan Pathan well known to the world. Irfan, who plays for Jammu and Kashmir now, had a special message for the birthday boy and went on to call him ‘Yaar’ (friend) and also added that there is no one like him.

This is not the first time that Irfan has showered the brotherly love as both of them are often busy enjoying their conversation on Twitter. Recently, the siblings had a gala time in their sister’s wedding ceremony and the pictures of the same had gone viral on the internet.

Yusuf gets a superb birthday gift

Two days before his birthday, Yusuf Pathan got a delighting news of the Sunrisers Hyderabad retaining him for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. He was one of the best players for them down the order and finished some really close games last season. Surely, the management must have taken heart from those performances and have decided to secure his services once again.

Even in the ongoing Ranji season, Yusuf has shown some great form with the bat for Baroda. He is the highest run-getter for his team after two matches with 212 runs in four outings at an impeccable average of 70.66 and would love to continue the same vein.

As far as Irfan Pathan is concerned, he is plying his trade for J&K this year and is in the dual role of player and mentor for them. He has mustered 119 runs so far in two games and has also picked three wickets bringing his all-round game to the fore. In short, the Pathan brothers are currently rocking the stage for their respective teams in the domestic cricket.
