Match 8 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 will see Islamabad United going up against Multan Sultans. The encounter takes place at the National Stadium in Karachi on Tuesday (February 1). Both sides have made winning starts to their campaign and would like to continue their winning run. While defending champions Multan Sultans have recorded three victories in as many games, the Islamabad-based side won their only game so far.

Hence, it would be interesting to see how this game pans out. Needless to mention, the Mohammad Riwan-led Sultans would be high on confidence. However, they are coming off a narrow six-run win over Quetta Gladiators. On the other hand, Shadab Khan’s men defeated Peshawar Zalmi by nine wickets in their only match so far.
