Shaheen Afridi, the prolific young fast bowler from Pakistan, has emerged as one of the brightest prospects for his national side in the last 12 months. The left-arm pacer also expressed his desire to take the wicket of Babar Azam in the near future in a recent Twitter interaction with his Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Lahore Qalandars.

The 20-year-old made his international debut back in 2018. Since then he has emerged as the strike bowler of the Pakistan across all the formats. He has sincerely taken the responsibility on his shoulders to lead the fast bowling attack of the team in the longer format after the departure of experienced pacers like Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz (from Test format).
