India secured it’s first victorious campaign in a T20 international series in England. While the batting was absolutely magnificent, the bowling also did a fine job leaving the last match. However, the pace department was missing its shining warrior in all the games.

Jasprit Bumrah who was ousted from the series following an injury was dearly missed. The yorker specialist has been India’s greatest strength when it comes to fast bowling. He and Bhuvneshwar Kumar form the most formidable bowling pair, probably one of the best for India.

The 24-year-old has been a part of the Indian limited overs setup for the last two years. He recently made his Test debut in the South African tour earlier this year. His first ever wicket was AB De Villiers, something he can boast about of the rest of his career. He also picked a five-wicket haul in the series.

While Bumrah has been ruled out of the limited-overs series in England, he would be trying to put his best foot forward ahead of the Test series. Ever since his debut, he has been really consistent with his line and length. His fluency in bowling yorkers at death have made it difficult for the opposition to accelerate.

Ever since his injury, fans over social media have been sending him best wishes for recovery. While India won the T20I series, everyone is aware that the team is still incomplete without its star bowler. Jasprit Bumrah in a bid to thank all the fans put up a Twitter post.

He described that wearing the blue jersey and representing the nation was a huge honour for him. He further thanked all the fans for their wishes. Bumrah remarked that he would soon return back to action.

Here’s what he tweeted

“Donning this jersey is the best feeling in the world. Something that you just can’t explain unless you have been a part of it. @BCCI #indiancricketteam Thank you all for your wishes. I’ll be back soon.”
