One of the fastest rising stars of the cricket world, Jofra Archer has become a big name in English cricket courtesy of his fantastic bowling performances in the last few months. He made his international debut only in 2019 but, the Barbados-born player has achieved a lot of popularity by guiding England to their maiden World Cup triumph. He was also in the news for bowling lethal short-pitched deliveries in the 2019 Ashes series.
Unfortunately, Archer could not take part in his team’s Test series against South Africa which ended two days ago. A lot of players from the visiting camp suffered from fever hence, the team management had no other option but to field a second-string playing XI in the Test series. The dominance of the upcoming English stars helped them win the 4-match series 3-1.
The likes of Mark Wood and Stuart Broad played the leading roles for England in this series as Joe Root’s men recorded a massive win in their first away series of the ICC World Test Championship. A fan then sent a tweet to Sky Sports stating that England does not need Jofra Archer in their international team now.
Anderson won’t make the ashes, getting on abit now. Still a great though.

Jofra Archer has scalped 30 wickets in seven Tests so far
The 24-year-old fast bowler has taken 30 wickets in the 7 Test matches he has played. He has best figures of 8/85 while his economy rate is just 3.00. These numbers indicate that very few batsmen have been able to play Archer’s deliveries well in the red-ball arena.
Talking about his numbers in ODI cricket, he has donned the English jersey in 14 ODIs, scalping 23 wickets at an economy rate of 4.63. Despite his brilliance on the field, he does not seem to have won the hearts of the cricket universe as the aforementioned fan felt that he is not good enough to play international cricket.
Archer did not ignore this troll instead he preferred to give a tight slap to that fan with the following response –
I’m probably not but my family and friends don’t seem to think so 🥰 https://t.co/bo3bgQMo95

In a sweet style, the fast bowler said that he is probably not fit to play for England at the international level however, his friends and family do not agree with his opinion. All we can say is that the English fast bowler is the best in the business when it comes to Twitter.
