WWE Champion John Cena has 9.9mn followers on Instagram, he doesn’t follow anyone back and has to date posted 1505 images on the platform. His account is like none other, while most celebrities love to post their own updates to give the fans an insight into their lives, Cena doesn’t believe in that.

His Instagram is an entertaining one and the bio reads- “Welcome to my Instagram. These images will be posted without explanation, for your interpretation. Enjoy.” The 16-time WWE champion posts random memes, morphed images and anything that appeals to him or he thinks is funny.

Cena seems to be a huge Stone Cold Steve Austin fan as he has put up quite a few versions of it which include- Stone Cold Steven Adams, Stone Cold Steffi Graf, Stone Cold Stephen F Austin, Stone Cold Steven Ogg and so on.

Now how is all this relevant to us, you’d ask. Of late the WWE Superstar has caught the imagination of Indian fans – posting images of Bollywood singer Daler Mehndi, the next was that of comedian Kapil Sharma and the most recent is that of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

Like we already know, he doesn’t put up captions with the images hence it is up to the viewers how they perceive it. The image of Tendulkar is that from his last Test match, he is sitting on the shoulders of his team-mates Virat Kohli and the then captain MS Dhoni. He is holding the tri-colour in hands and waving at the crowd at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Now a popular fan theory suggests that it might be because the Indian Independence day is just around the corner and he put up a photo of the most iconic cricketer from the country and the flag for the occasion.

At the same time, it is a well-known fact that India serves as a huge audience for the show and Cena’s posts might as well be his attempt to target them.
