Rishabh Pant has been associated with some of the most unusual shots in the past, however, he has found a great deal of success through it. The left-hander has been in good form off late and has made some impact performances in the ongoing T20Is against West Indies. He scored a 31-ball 44 run knock in the fourth T20I in Florida which included six fours and in the process, he ended up with one of the bizarre shots.

On the 15th over of the innings, Pant was going after the bowling of Obed McCoy and there was a clear plan among the bowlers to target the outside off stump for Pant with his strengths on the leg side. McCoy bowled a similar kind of wide delivery and Pant tried to get some bat to it by completely taking his front leg in a ninety-degree way and ended up in a funny posture which left the social media in splits.

This is not the first time Pant has surprised everyone with the kind of shot he played and the fans could not stop themselves from posting a train of memes on social media.

Here’s the series of tweets on Rishabh Pant’s bizarre shot

“What sort of shot is this?” a fan had tweeted

“Just Rishabh Pant being Rishabh Pant”, another fan tweeted

From being the backup wicketkeeper in the side, Pant has risen up the ranks in the last few years and he looks like a certainty in the T20 World Cup squad for India. He has been continuously sent in at number four and the left-handed option makes him quite handy. His destructive abilities will be a fascinating factor to watch out every time he comes to bat as he has found a lot of success through it.

Meanwhile, India has secured the series with a lead of 3-1 by winning the fourth T20I against West Indies and Avesh Khan was the star of the match in the previous game with 2 for 17 in his four-over spell.
