Sanjay Manjrekar getting trolled on social media is nothing new. The former India batsman has developed a knack of making others having fun at his expense. The ex-cricketer-turned-commentator loves to see any issue with a different angle and it lands him in an unwanted situation more often than not. Who can forget his feud with Ravindra Jadeja earlier this year when he called the India all-rounder bits and pieces cricketer.

Jadeja had done performed extremely well in the World Cup before taking a dig at Manjrekar on Twitter. And in the latest turn of events, another cricketer has trolled Manjrekar. The cricketer is none other than former England skipper Kevin Pietersen. It all started when Manjrekar took to Twitter to opine that the IPL teams should go for Kesrick Williams in the auction.

Manjrekar said that the West Indies pacer is perfect for IPL conditions. Williams recently played in the T20I series against India and did make an impression with his variations. In one of those games, he also outfoxed Virat Kohli. And impressed with his skills, Manjrekar took to Twitter to endorse him, writing:

“Go for Kesrick Williams guys. Perfect bowler for IPL conditions. ”

However, Kevin Pietersen was not impressed with Manjrekar’s opinion. The England legend quickly responded to Manjrekar’s tweet, saying that Williams has got nothing special with his bowling apart from his celebration.

“Completely disagree. He’s not good enough! He has nothing special apart from his celebration…”

Kevin Pietersen trolls Sanjay Manjrekar:

Sanjay Manjrekar did not respond to Pietersen after the latter disagreed to it. However, the latter made sure to troll Manjrekar on Sunday when the ex-India cricketer posted another tweet which was completely unrelated to the auction. Manjrekar took to Twitter to lavish praise on Nicholas Pooran who slammed 89 off just 64 balls against India in the third ODI.

“Nicholas Pooran. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™,” wrote Sanjay Manjrekar.

This is when Pietersen decided to take a sly dig at Manjrekar by asking the latter about Williams’ fortunes in the IPL auction. Williams went unsold in the auction despite registering his name at a base price of INR 50 lakh.

“How did Williams go in auction?!,” wrote Pietersen.
