MS Dhoni is regarded as one of the best skippers that India have ever produced. He has a massive following not only in his nation but across the globe. Everyone admires his quality of keeping himself calm and composed on the cricket field during tough matches. And, now, a Sandalwood star has accepted the fact that he idolizes the former Indian skipper in his life.

The 38-year-old is the only Indian skipper to have won three ICC trophies i-e- T20 World Cup 2007, ICC World Cup 2011 and Champions Trophy in 2013. He bid farewell to Test cricket back in 2014 and has been the regular part of Team India until the 2019 World Cup. After India lost a close and heartbreaking semi-final to New Zealand, he took a sabbatical and went on to serve the Paramilitary forces for two months. And, currently, he is spending his time off from cricket with his family in his hometown, Ranchi.

Yash is a fan of MS Dhoni’s attitude

Recently, in an interview to GQ India, Yash was quizzed over, who inspires and motivates him in his life. In reply to it, the KGF famed actor said that MS Dhoni’s attitude is quite inspiring for him along with India Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Shankar Nag (he) is a big inspiration in our state, MS Dhoni — his attitude and our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi,” Yash said.

At the moment the South Indian actor is busy with the shooting of KGF Chapter 2, a sequel to the hit 2018 Kannada film. It is slated to get released in April 2020. His blockbuster movie had also received the best Action award and best special effects award at the 66th National Film Awards.

MS Dhoni in his illustrious career did supremely well in batting as well as in his wicketkeeping. He has amassed more than 16,000 runs across all the formats for Team India. The 38-year-old has 195 dismissals through his stumpings followed by 634 international catches.

However, at the moment he is moving in the late 30s, so there are rife speculations that he might soon take retirement from International cricket. But, looking forward to the poor performances of young Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, the Indian fans have already started feeling the absence of the former World Cup-winning skipper in the national side.
