The match starts at 11:30 AM local time (4:00 PM IST) (10:30 PM GMT).

Preview:

Loughborough Lightning became the 2nd team after Western Storm to seal their spot in the finals day with 23 points. Lightning won five out of their eight matches including three bonus-point wins. They will face Lancashire Thunder at the Trent Bridge on Sunday. The Lancashire Thunder have failed to win at least one match in this edition having lost seven out of the eight games they played.

Their game against Southern Vipers ended in a Tie which was the only game that earned points for Thunder. This game between Loughborough and Lancashire doesn’t have any significance. However, the Thunder will be looking to register their first win while Lightning want to enter finals day with winning momentum. This game will be the first at the Trent Bridge for many players in both squads.

This game between Lightning and Thunder will start at 11:30 BST as it will be followed by a T20 Blast game in the afternoon. No rain is predicted during the match timings at Trent Bridge. However, there could be a slight delayed start as there are marginal signs of rain in the early morning.

This match will be the first in the Kia Super League at the Trent Bridge. The venue has hosted only one Women’s T20 match thus far. New Zealand got better of India during the 2009 WT20 semi-final after posting 145. In an unofficial T20 game last year, the England Academy Women 228/5 and won by 116 runs against the Australia Aboriginal Women.
