Cricket fans worldwide are engaged nowadays with several significant series and tournaments being underway. While India and England tussle in the Trent Bridge Test, Bangladesh hosts Australia in a T20I series. Several prominent crickters are also plying their trade in The Hundred, organized by the England Cricket Board (ECB). With non-stop cricket action taking place, players aren’t getting much breathing time.
However, veteran Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik hasn’t been in action lately. The talismanic cricketer was last seen in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 where he played for Peshwar Zalmi. Malik hasn’t played for Pakistan since September last year and it would be interesting to see if he makes a comeback. In the meantime, Malik found a different way to hog fans’ attention.
Shoaib Malik looks dapper in new pictures
On Thursday (August 5), Malik took to Instagram and shared a couple of stylish monochrome pictures of himself. The former Pakistan captain can be seen flaunting his rock-hard abs and his denim outfit is cherry on the cake. There’s no one denying that Malik is looking dapper in the pictures. While several fans heaped praises on the cricketer’s ravishing looks, a section of netizens used the opportunity to pull Malik’s leg.

Though jokingly, the all-rounder was teased for trying his hand in modeling. Some disgruntled fans also advised him to focus on making Team India come back with the T20 World Cup 2021 being just around the corner. As mentioned above, the all-rounder last played for Pakistan in September 2020. It was a T20I series against England after which he got dropped from the national team.
Nevertheless, Malik was in red-hot form in this year’s PSL where he played several sensational knocks. The Peshawar Zalmi star slammed 354 in 13 outings with his strike rate touching 150. Although these numbers are impressive, they couldn’t earn Malik a comeback in the national team. The Men in Green went England and West Indies after the T20 tournament, and Malik wasn’t included. Hence, it would be interesting to see if the 39-year-old ever place for Pakistan again.
