KKR IPL Team 2020 Players List: Full List of Kolkata Knight Riders squad and support staff
In the absence of an experienced Indian quick, KKR will rely heavily on Cummins in their pace bowling department.

Having won two IPL titles so far, Dinesh Karthik-led Kolkata Knight Riders are also considered as one of the favourites to clinch the trophy this season. After missing out on Playoffs in the previous edition, KKR will by vying to clinch their third IPL trophy on the UAE soil this season. They had a woeful end to their IPL 2019 campaign as they lost six matches after clinching four of their first five encounters.
Along with captain Karthik, KKR side has many prolific players such as Sunil Narine, Shubman Gill, and Andre Russell. They’ve also bolstered their squad with multiple additions like Tom Banton, Eoin Morgan and Pat Cummins. Along with Cummins’ blistering pace, batting exploits of Banton and Morgan can also emerge as two missing pieces in KKR’s unsolved puzzle.

KKR will open their IPL 2020 campaign against MI
Another strong pair which the side possesses is the Caribbean duo of Sunil Narine and Andre Russell. After plying their trade in the recently-concluded CPL 2020, both the players will be hoping to deliver on UAE wickets too. While Narine is expected to open the innings with young Gill, Russell is supposed to take care of the death-overs’ fireworks.

Meanwhile, the young Shivam Mavi-Kamlesh Nagarkoti duo will also be hoping to emerge as game-changing players for the franchise. While skipper Karthik will handle the wicketkeeping duties, Kuldeep Yadav will be at the helm of KKR’s spin-bowling force.
Hoping to cruise to a positive start, Kolkata Knight Riders will begin their campaign on September 23 with a match against Mumbai Indians, followed by another fixture on September 26th against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The Knight Riders’ camp will then head to Dubai for locking horns with Rajasthan Royals on September 30 before moving to Sharjah for facing Delhi Capitals on October 3.
