The Indian opener KL Rahul posted a picture with WWE wrestler The Great Khali on Instagram recently. Apart from Rahul, Indian captain Virat Kohli, pace bowler Umesh Yadav also took a picture with the popular wrestler and shared it with his fans. The players met the wrestler after wrapping up the 2nd Test match by an innings and 53 runs. It took them about 4 hours and 35 minutes to clinch the game.

captain Kohli wrote, “It was Great to meet The Great Khali, what a guy!” Pacer Yadav wrote, “When Strength meets Size Met the big man with an even bigger heart. Glad to have met you Great Khali.”

Opener Shikhar Dhawan and all-rounder Hardik Pandya also have uploaded pics with Khali. Rohit Sharma, who is in India, uploaded a pic of him holding the belt that was gifted by Triple H after Rohit led Mumbai Indians to the IPL title this year.

Rahul posted the picture with a caption “Can someone please help me with this man’s diet? Legend! #wwesuperstars #beast #goodtimes”.

Rahul continues his impressive form

Clearly, Rahul was overwhelmed on meeting the Great Khali. The opener continued his good form, scoring his seventh consecutive fifty in Test cricket. Apart from Rahul, Dhawan too continued his good form and scored a century during the 1st day of the 3rd Test match. The left-hander started the series with a 190 in the first game and looked in good touch. India finished the day on 329/6 after the Sri Lankans came back into the game, picking up six crucial wickets after the openers posted 188 on the board.

India have already won the series and they will look to end it with a whitewash over the host. Man of the match from the previous game Ravindra Jadeja has been suspended and therefore spinner Kuldeep Yadav has replaced him in the playing XI.
