KL Rahul is one of the most popular Indian cricketers. The 29-year-old flamboyant batsman boasts of a following of 11.1 Million on Instagram and provides regular updates on the social media platform so that fans can get a sneak peek into his life.

Rahul recently opened up on some of his popular posts on Instagram. There is the ‘boy band’ Instagram post of KL Rahul where he can be seen with the other members of the Indian team. Rahul revealed that while the idea of the post was his, the execution of the picture was done by the wives of the cricketers.

Rahul also explained the meaning behind some of his tattoos as well. The Indian batsman also opened up on the picture that shows him receiving his maiden Test cap. You can see Rahul talking about his various Instagram posts below.

KL Rahul backed to take over captaincy mantle from Virat Kohli

India’s next Head Coach Rahul Dravid has opined that he would like either Rohit Sharma or KL Rahul to replace Virat Kohli as India’s next white-ball captain. “Who do you see as the next Indian white-ball captain?” was one of the questions for Dravid. His first choice was Sharma followed by KL Rahul,” stated a report in The Indian Express.

KL Rahul has been in decent form in the 2021 edition of the T20 World Cup. The right-handed batsman scored 140 runs in the 4 innings that he played in the tournament, and has scored his runs at an average of 35.00, and a strike rate in excess of 150. Rahul has also plundered 2 fifties in the tournament as well.

KL Rahul and the Indian side will play their final match of the 2021 edition of the T20 World Cup against the Namibia side on 8th November 2021 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. KL Rahul has scored 1697 runs in T20I cricket at an average of close to 40 and a strike rate of 143.09.
