Mumbai Indians’ all-rounder Krunal Pandya recently appeared on the popular TV show where he talked about several topics ranging from cricket to Bollywood. The show host Karan Wahi asked him very interesting questions besides performing some dance moves and delivering classic Bollywood dialogues.
The all-rounder entered the show shaking his leg on the popular ‘Bala’ song from Housefull 4 while he even delivered his favourite dialogue from the movie ‘Gangs of Wasseypur 2’. When asked about his favourite actor, Krunal mentioned that he finds a lot of similarities between himself and Ajay Devgn which is why the veteran is the Baroda-based player’s most-liked Bollywood actor.
In a rapid-fire question and answer round, host Karan Wahi asked him to assign a cricketer to a Bollywood celebrity and here’s how Krunal replied to the questions: “Chulbul Pandey is Kedar Jadhav, Mogambo is Shikhar Dhawan, Rowdy Rathore is Virat Kohli and Jai Veeru are Krunal and Hardik,” as quoted by mid-day.
The cricket universe has often seen Kedar Jadhav compare himself with Salman Khan. The all-rounder had once celebrated his hundred in the trademark Dabangg style while the fans have also learnt about Jadhav’s wish to replicate Salman in the social media videos.
Shikhar Dhawan’s moustache and personality have always drawn comparisons between some of the famous Bollywood villains. However, it was surprising to see Krunal pick Virat Kohli as the ‘Rowdy Rathore’ of the cricket world as the Indian skipper has worked on his behaviour a lot.
Ultimately, he named himself and his brother, Hardik Pandya as the ‘Jai-Veeru’ of the cricket world as there could not be a better pair of friends from Bollywood to be contrasted with the Pandya brothers.
