Kuldeep Yadav is a quick learner: Ashish Nehra
It goes without saying that Brathwaite’s men need to figure out the Kuldeep-conundrum.

Kuldeep Yadav has carved a reputation as one of India’s gun bowlers in limited-overs cricket. Moreover, he has done well on pitches, which aren’t conducive to spin bowling. He has been playing international cricket for the last one year and opponents have found him a difficult prospect to deal with. Last year, the chinaman bowler also picked up an ODI hat-trick against Australia.
The 23-year-old is currently playing in the three-match T20I series against Windies. In the first match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, he was adjudged as the Player of the Match as he finished with stupendous figures of 4-0-13-3. The tweaker churned out the wickets of Darren Bravo, Rovman Powell and Carlos Brathwaite to break the backbone of the Windies middle-order.
He is growing as a bowler
The spell of bowling ensured that the Caribbean team got up to a paltry 109, which was comfortably tracked down by the hosts. In the meantime, Ashish Nehra, the former Indian speedster, reckons, Kuldeep has learnt the tricks of the trade pretty quickly. Moreover, he mentioned that the Uttar Pradesh-born bowler will only get better as his career progresses.
“He is growing as a bowler. If you can’t pick him from his hand, it will be difficult to pick him. Today he’s shown in T20 cricket that he can even bowler the faster one. He is a quick learner and he has good control over his line and length. The more he’ll play, the fitter he’ll get and will be even better,” Nehra was quoted as saying in News 18.
After the victory in the opening match, the Men in Blue are scheduled to play their second encounter at Ekana International Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. It goes without saying that Brathwaite’s men need to figure out the Kuldeep-conundrum as they would be looking to win the match and draw level in the series.
