The never-ending tiff between Lalit Modi and N Srinivasan took another turn as the former IPL commissioner revealed the appointed letter of former skipper of Chennai Super Kings’ and Vice President of India Cements, MS Dhoni. It all started seven years back after the conclusion of IPL 2010 as Modi was sacked as the IPL commissioner.

BCCI lynchpins, N Srinivasan, Shashank Manohar and Niranjan Shah were vocal about the unceremonious sacking of the mastermind behind the IPL. Modi was charged with a wide range of financial impropriety, from rigging bidding deals related to the IPL, offering bribes, betting and money laundering.

Since then, the former Rajasthan Cricket Association chief has been evading law enforcement agencies in India as he is currently settled in London with his family. He is a renowned personality on Twitter as he makes frequent revelations about his unjust sacking from the board. His allegations gained spine after Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals were relegated from the league and Lodha Committee was set up by the Supreme Court to sanitise the filth in the board.

Srinivasan, who was at one time the President of BCCI and Chairman of the ICC, lost his place in the governing bodies following recommendations from the Lodha Committee. The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association chief is also the owner of the CSK franchise and father-in-law of Gurunath Meiyappan who was imprisoned due to betting and spot-fixing allegations.

However, Modi recently posted a picture of MS Dhoni’s salary breakup offered by India Cements for the post of Vice President (Marketing) at the company’s corporate office in Chennai back in 2012. Cumulatively, the amount sums up to about INR 1.7 lacs per month.

Modi posted it on Instagram stating,” It seems only in #india #contempt after contempt continues by the #old #guards of @bcci – How ? My best guess is #northblock‬. But most #puzzling is this #employment #contract of #MSD – WHY ? he earns 100’s of crores a year will he #agree to be #SRINI’S #employee. bet there are many such contracts”
