Canada vs United States of America, Match 4 - Live Cricket Score

Canada will lock horns with the United States of America in the 4th match of the ICC CWC Qualifiers Playoff at the Wanderers Cricket Ground in Windhoek on March 29. Both teams won their respective opening games in the tournament and have occupied the first two places in the points table.

Canada were up against Jersey in their last game, where Jersey won the toss and elected to field. Canada did not have a start as they would have hoped for, as they lost as many as four wickets within the powerplay. Brilliant fifties from Srimantha and Nikhil helped Canada reach a decent total of 238 runs for the loss of eight wickets. In return, Jersey got a fantastic start as two of their top-order batters reached their half-centuries, respectively. However, once they were gone, the chase went haywire, and they kept losing wickets. Ultimately, they were bundled out for 207 runs, and Canada won the match by 31 runs.

The United States of America were up against Namibia in their last match, where Namibia won the toss, and they elected to field. The USA started off slowly but were proceeding ahead cautiously. Some helpful knocks from Gajanand and Nosthush propelled the USA to a total of 231 runs at the expense of nine wickets. Namibia, in their chase, lost two wickets up front, but a few decent partnerships brought them back into the game. The USA did not lose out on their chances and kept taking regular wickets. Namibia was later all-out for a score of 151 runs, so the USA won the match by 80 runs.
