Preview

India Women will take on England Women in the only Test of the ongoing series. The match will start on Thursday (December 14) at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai.

The three-match T20I series between the two teams was completed on Sunday. England earned an unassailable lead after winning the first two matches of the series. India bounced back in the third game and won by five wickets. Shreyanka Patil took three wickets for 19 runs and won the Player of the Match award.

It will be the 100th Test match for England. Both teams have played 14 Test matches against each other, and only three matches have produced results. India won two, while England were victorious in one game.

The last match between the two teams ended in a draw in June 2021. Shafali Verma won the Player of the Match award for her batting performance. She made 96 runs in the first innings and followed that with a 63-run knock in the second innings.
