Batting from Gloucestershire, G van Buuren hit a century, followed by Anwar Ali with 61 runs. The team got all out on 278 runs. Ben Sanderson picked three wickets, Rob Keogh got two wickets, and Tom Taylor and F Heldreich  took one wicket each. When Northamptonshire came to bat, Tom Taylor scored a century, followed by Lewis McManus who scored a half century, and Prithvi Shaw hit 34 runs. The team played well, but fell short of 23 runs for winning the match due to the constant fall of wickets. They got all out on 255 runs.

Sussex had squared off against Durham in their last match where Durham won the toss and elected to bat. Durham performed brilliantly in the first innings. Graham Clark opened scoring 72 runs. Alex Lees scored 144 runs, with David Bedingham supporting him and hitting 102 runs. The team scored a mammoth 427 runs with the loss of nine wickets. Jack Carson picked four wickets, Henry Crocombe scalped three wickets, and Bradley Currie and Fyn Hudson-Prentice got one wicket each. When Sussex came to bat, Tom Haines and Fyn Hudson-Prentice scored 65 runs each, and Henry Crocombe hit 47 runs. They lost the wickets every now and then. Sussex managed to score just 295 runs with the loss of nine wickets, and lost the match by 131 runs.
