Punjab Kings will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 27th match of the Indian T20 League. This match will be played at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. Royal Challengers Bangalore suffered a loss against Chennai in the previous match by 8 runs. Chasing a huge target of 226, Faf du plessis and Maxwell kept them in the hunt with a partnership of 126 after losing a couple of early wickets. In the end their effort went in vain as Bangalore fell short of the target by a very small margin. The loss has pushed back to eighth position in the table and they will be keen to bounce back.

On the other hand, Punjab Kings were impressive in the previous match beating Lucknow team despite the absence of their captain Dhawan.
