Mahendra Singh Dhoni buys four flats in Andheri, Mumbai

Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni who took everyone by surprise by stepping down from India’s limited-overs captaincy very recently has reportedly purchased four flats in a posh housing society in Mumbai’s Andheri area. According to fellow residents of the society, Dhoni has shifted there with his full family and since then it has become one of the most desired properties in Mumbai.

The society where Dhoni has bought the flats also has well-known celebrities residing in it including celebrities like Vipul Singh, Chitrangada Singh, Prabhu Deva and Prachi Desai. As reports per Mumbai Mirror, Dhoni has been noticed by many, spending time in the building gymnasium. It is bound to attract people and even the laziest of people would come up to the gym to have a glance at undoubtedly the greatest ever Indian captain of all time.

Local brokers are also labelling the property as ‘Dhoni-Wali’ building (the building in which MS Dhoni lives) which will help them get more potential clients. Dhoni who stepped down from captaincy will be felicitated by the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) when India meets England for the 3rd and final ODI against England at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Dhoni has undoubtedly been the greatest ever captain Indian cricket has seen in its lifetime and his records speak for themselves. He has been the most successful Indian skipper across all three formats and is the only captain in the world to lead his nation to victories in all 3 major ICC tournaments. The World Cup, the World Twenty20 and the Champions Trophy.

Dhoni looked in great touch in the warm-up game against England where he captained any Indian side for the one last time. It was heartening to see so many people coming for the warm-up match and it was solely due to a man called Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He struck a quickfire 68 of 40 balls to propel India A’s score to 303/5 in their allotted 50 overs.

It will be interesting to see how Dhoni approaches the situation and guides Virat Kohli through this crucial phase of Indian cricket especially in the limited overs format.
