Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of the most loved cricketers in the world, and also one of the most followed personalities on social media. It is a result of his amazing achievements and humble nature that superstars from other fields are also his fans. It has been evident from the posts we often see on social media, in which other celebrities post their fangirl or fanboy moments with MS Dhoni.

Latest to join the list of celebrities is Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt’s wife Maanyata. Dhoni returned as the captain of the Indian team for the 200th time in a One-Day International during the India vs Afghanistan game in the Super Fours stage of the Asia Cup 2018. As it turns out Dhoni met Maanyata before the game in Dubai.

The two posed for a picture and Maanyata took to social media to share the snaps. Both Dhoni and the actor were all smiles for the picture. “MSD & MSD ❤️😇#aboutlastnight #twinning #prideofnation #coolcaptain #gamechanger #love #grace #positivity #dutts #dubai #beautifullife #thankyougod🙏,” read the caption of the snap.

Here is the picture she posted with captain cool:

Speaking of Dhoni, his form in the on-going Asia Cup has not been the best. He started the tournament with a duck against Hong Kong and didn’t get an opportunity to bat in both the games against Pakistan. He made 33 off 37 against Bangladesh, but a questionable umpiring decision against Afghanistan meant he could score only 8 runs.

In 2007, when MS Dhoni captained India for the first time ever in a complete game, the match ended in a tie. In 2018, when he captained India for the 200th and probably last time, the match was a tie once again. Afghanistan gave a tough time to India in the game, and Dhoni also praised for them after the game.

“Good batting by them – how they fielded, how they bowled was impressive. I wouldn’t say we went wrong. It was like a game of golf because we started with a handicap, we rested our main players. It was very important for the fast bowlers to fall back to the back of a length area when there was no swing,” he had said.
