The Bangladesh fans are well known to be passionate towards their game, and in return, they received a surprise on Friday night. Bangladesh’s limited over captain Mashrafe Mortaza interacted with his fans through video call. An initiative by Ring ID, a social networking site which is believed to be growing on the line of Facebook.

Mashrafe himself gave an announcement that he was coming live. He said on a video clip on his Facebook page that, “The country is going ahead and so are we. Our technology is also going ahead. I am with RingID on this journey. To get all my updates do follow 20200202. See you.” Mortaza has a huge fan-following in Bangladesh and across other parts of the world.

Earlier, pacer Taskin Ahmed and opener Tamim Iqbal too came live on Ring ID and spent time with their fans. And it has been said that all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and Test captain Mushfiqur Rahim will also interact with their fans through this initiative in the coming time. It has also been reported that Bollywood actor Sunny Leone will also be coming live on August 12 at 10 pm.

Mortaza was reportedly rushed to a hospital last Sunday after he coughed up blood. According to a report from bdcrictime.com, Mortaza was taken to a hospital but was released after preliminary investigations. He was declared fit and was not admitted.

The official doctor of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), Debashish Chowdhury, announced later, “There is nothing serious happened to Mashrafe. He coughed up some blood in the morning and that’s why he went to the hospital for check up. His lungs have been checked and everything is fine now. He won’t have to be admitted in the hospital.”

Meanwhile, Bangladesh will host Australia for 2-Test match series starting on August 27. It will be interesting to see if the Tigers can keep their good home run going.
