Team India registered yet another win in the ongoing 5-match series against Australia. With the win in the Kolkata ODI, the men in blue have now taken a handy 2-0 lead in the series. Needless to say, Indian skipper Virat Kohli is highly ecstatic after the win. Kohli played a key role in the match and was also awarded the Player of the Match award for his efforts.

Kohli had smashed 92 runs and had played the anchor role in taking the Indian score to a respectable 252 in the match. His effort remained to be the top score in the game across both the sides. The track at Eden Garden surprisingly played out in the favor of the bowlers on the day. Hence, the knock played by Virat Kohli deserves special credits.

Well, Kohli’s actions with the bat was not the only thing that was in the news on the day. He was back to his aggressive best during the course of the game. It seems that the Australian team brings out the best out of the Indian skipper. When Kohli was batting with Kedar Jadhav, an incident saw the Indian captain have a word with wicket-keeper Matthew Wade.

The incident took place when a Marcus Stoinis delivery deceived Jadhav. Wade failed to collect the ball too. Seeing an opportunity, Kohli took a bye and completed a run. Wade, unimpressed with the run, opted to have a word with Kohli since he felt that the ball should have been called dead.

Kohli did not say much then but when Wade came in to bat and was dismissed cheaply, he gave him a big send off. Kuldeep Yadav managed to get an inside edge off the bat of Wade and the ball crashed into the stumps. Kohli was seen pumping his fists and jumping in joy to celebrate. His renowned roar was there to be seen.
