Michael Vaughan shuts down an Indian fan who mocked him for his tweet on Indore pitch

Michael Vaughan, the former England skipper is known for his outspoken nature. But, sometimes his conflicting statements don’t go well with the ardent followers of cricket. And, the same happened when he commented on the nature of the pitch that is being used in Indore is a belter. This didn’t go well with a fan, who tried to mock the former cricketer. However, Vaughan shut down the fan with an epic reply.

Team India is currently involved in the 1st Test of the two-match series against Bangladesh. On Day-1, the whole team of Tigers’ was dismissed at a low score of 150 runs. A great show coming from the trio of Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma was responsible for the collapse of the visitors.

Earlier, after the conclusion of the Test series between South Africa and India, Vaughan criticized Indian pitches because of which he had to face the heat of the fans.

And, on Thursday, in the ongoing Test during Bangladesh innings, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mominul Haque got settled. Also, it looked like they might post some competitive total against the hosts. However, the same thought might have come into the mind of Vaughan, so he took to his Twitter handle and wrote that the pitch being used is a good one, “This Test Match pitch in India is a belter”.

However, the Indian bowlers with a brilliant bowling display dismissed Tigers at a low score. This is when an Indian fan decided to mock Michael Vaughan and tweeted, “Bangladesh is now 140/7. This guy has no idea about Indian pitches. His only claim to fame is ashes 2005 and nothing else.”

In an epic reply, the former England skipper, wrote, “This is one is very good Raj lad. Not a bad claim to fame though I guess .. !! I did win the golden boot for Baslow Fc in 1996 in Peak District football league as well.”
