Mike Hussey reckons that Zampa has a bit of Kumble in his bowling action

Retired Australian batsman Mike Hussey has lauded the impact made by Adam Zampa in recent times with the bat. While Zampa has been in tremendous form in recent times given his impressive bowling performance, it seems quite clear that he will be one of the crucial players when it comes to playing against the Indians.

Hussey, who has a pretty decent record in the Indian subcontinent went on to add that Zampa had a bit of Anil Kumble in his bowling action. Whilst admitting that Kumble was a bit taller and that it was indeed a bit premature to compare the two, it seems quite clear that the duo is quite similar in their bowling acumen as well.

“Kumble was a lot taller but not a big turner of the ball and had a lot of success bowling in that manner. Kumble is a legend of the game so it’s a bit premature to compare the two, but the style of bowling is certainly very similar so you can make some comparisons there,” Hussey was quoted as saying by ‘cricket.com.au’.
