Test match nicely poised
As far as the first Test between Pakistan and Australia is concerned, the visitors have put on a sensational resistance on the fifth-day pitch. Travis Head and Usman Khawaja didn’t deter and stitched a partnership of 132 runs to frustrate the opposition. Just when the Pakistan bowlers looked resigned, Hafeez once again came to the fore and struck off the first ball after the new ball was taken. He trapped Head right in front of the stumps to end his brilliant 72-run knock.
Australia are currently five down and Khawaja is playing the innings of his life. He has already brought up his century and is looking determined to help his team draw the Test match.
