What is the Indian Premier League? A CSK fan would reply- “It is a tournament where seven teams compete to meet CSK in the playoffs.” Such has been the dominance of the yellow brigade over the years. MS Dhoni & Co. have qualified for the playoffs in each of the eight seasons and have won two titles. After their suspension for two years, the Mumbai Indians took over the reigns as the most successful side of the IPL by winning the title in 2017.

It has been a fairytale return for Chennai as they are currently placed second on the points table and are on course to qualify for the playoffs once again. Moments of individual brilliance have taken the team over the line on several occasions. The form of their skipper Dhoni has also been the X-factor for the team. MS is hitting the ball as clean as ever and this has been an added advantage for the yellow army.

Demolished RCB

Mohammed Kaif, former Indian cricketer is currently part of IPL’s cricket pundits and was discussing the strategy for CSK against RCB. He was explaining the strategy that Dhoni should use against the Royal Challengers but wasn’t aware that Dhoni was watching the show and listening to his analysis.

Kaif shared the video and tweeted: “When you are speaking about a legend and the legend appears 🙂 Watch till the end Thala fans @ChennaiIPL #Cricketopathy.”

Mahi is in the middle of a memorable season as he seems to have rediscovered his big-hitting abilities. He is currently the only batsman to average over 90 this season and is also leading the charts for maximum sixes with 28 big hits. He demolished the RCB bowlers to bail his team out and seal an improbable victory. He needs to carry on his form to take CSK all the way towards their third IPL title.
