Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif is an active name on the social media. The dynamic Indian player is never shy of expressing his views and opinions on the current trends on Twitter. The fans were drooling over the sarcastic tweets of Virender Sehwag. And then came Mohammad Kaif, who has been equally active in his interactions with the fans. He has been the first person on most occasions to voice out his concern for something that he deems inappropriate.

He proudly stood in Mohammad Shami’s corner when the hate comments were flooding the pacer’s way. He rightly defended the child actress from Dangal later on when she was being tagged unIslamic. His activeness needs no testimony. Another very positive trait of Mohammad Kaif is that he ensures he has interactive sessions with his fans every now and then. He answers the questions from his fans that come his way under the hash tag “AskKaif”.

Recently, he had one more such session with the Twitterati. Most of the questions that he answered were centered around cricket. One of the fans asked who has been the best bowler that Kaif has ever faced in his life. To answer the question, Mohammmad Kaif took the names of two legends of the game. He answered that the toughest bowlers have been former Aussie quick Glenn McGrath and former Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar.

When asked about who he thinks is the most destructive batsman of his era, Kaif had very little doubt in naming Virender Sehwag as the one. Both players share great camaraderie off the field these days.

During his playing days, he had set a benchmark in Indian fielding with his acrobatic moves on the field. He formed a formidable fielding pair with Yuvraj Singh. When asked to describe his friendship with Yuvraj, Mohammad Kaif chose to put down lyrics of an old song. He said, “Yeh dosti hum nahi chhodenge @YUVSTRONG12 #AskKaif”.

In another interesting question that was fired up at him was about who has been his inspiration. Mohammad Kaif chose to name two of the greatest batsmen of the Indian cricket history – Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid.
