Talking about the ODI format of the Asia Cup, former Indian skipper MS Dhoni leads the chart in the list of dismissals by a wicketkeeper. Dhoni played 19 Asia Cup games for India in the ODI format, where he dismissed 36 players. Furthermore, former Sri Lanka skipper Kumar Sangakkara is the joint-highest wicketkeeper with the most dismissals, with 36 dismissals to his name in 24 matches.
Third place is occupied by former Pakistan keeper Moin Khan, who has 17 dismissals to his name in 14 matches. Whereas Mushfiqur Rahim sits in third place with 17 dismissals in just as many matches as well. He is followed by Brendon Kuruppu with 14 dismissals in nine matches.
Talking about the T20I format, once again, first place is occupied by former Indian skipper MS Dhoni, who is once again the joint-highest keeper with the most dismissals. With seven dismissals in five matches, Dhoni was undoubtedly one of the greatest keepers of all time.
He is followed by the UAE’s Swapnil Patil, who has seven dismissals in just as many matches. Furthermore, Dinesh Chandimal occupies second place with four dismissals in three matches and is followed by Oman’s Sultan Ahmed, who has four dismissals in three matches. The last spot is occupied by Dinesh Karthik who dismissed three players in one match as the wicketkeeper.
