Bangladesh had a highly successful year in ODIs, however, failed to impress in the longest format of the game having played all of its 5 Tests at home. The team lost a 2-match series against Pakistan by a margin of 1-0. The one-off Test against India was dominated by the visitors and the team was lucky to escape with a draw thanks to rain.
