The 13th edition of Indian Premier League is all set to begin with all the teams fully geared up to lock horns for the prestigious trophy. The tournament will get kicked off from 29th of March. Now, ahead of the commencement of the cash-rich league, Royal Challengers Bangalore has shared a post telling about their trump card player in the upcoming season of IPL in a unique way.

On Monday, the US President Donal Trump visited India for some major discussions with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As he reached India, the 73-year-old gave a speech in an event organized ‘Namaste Trump’. He took the names of Indian players like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli in a positive gesture.

He said that India is a country where people cheer for some of the biggest cricketers in the world like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, “This is the country where your people cheer on some of the world’s greatest cricket players, Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli,” Donald Trump said as quoted by India Today.

RCB shows their creativity using Trump’s speech

Everything was well said by the US President about the country. But, one thing that hogged the spotlight was his pronunciation of the cricketer’s name. Instead of Sachin and Virat, he said ‘Soo-chin’ and ‘Virot Ko-lee,’ due to which he was hilariously trolled by the netizens on social media.

Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore sensed an opportunity of utilizing it on its social media platform. They used the clip in which Trump is taking the name of Virat Kohli and gave it a voice-over saying,  “Mr President, who is the trump card of RCB?” At the same time, Donal Trump can be spotted taking the name of Virat Kohli (Virot Ko-Lee).

It is known that Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper is rated as one of the best batsmen in international cricket. He also leads Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL. However, his side has never managed to get their hands on the prestigious trophy. But, this time with some new players coming into the team, they would be hopeful of winning their maiden title.
