The outbreak of coronavirus has put a halt to all the cricketing action. Along with human existence, the pandemic has also affected the sporting scenario as all major tournaments have either been called off or postponed in the wake of the outbreak. The much-awaited IPL 2020 has also been postponed indefinitely to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
In such a critical condition, several cricketers are spending their quarantine period with their families. Many cricketers have also resorted to social media including Twitter and Instagram in order to interact with their fans during their isolation period. Meanwhile, MS Dhoni, who was set to mark his comeback to the game through IPL 2020, has also been spending time with his family in Ranchi. The 38-year-old’s comeback to the cricket field has been delayed due to the postponement of the league.
Amid the lockdown, the former Indian skipper has been staying with his family in his farmhouse in Ranchi which is located in the outskirts of the city. Dhoni’s wife Sakshi has been sharing many pics on her Instagram during their quarantine time.
Sakshi, on Sunday, shared a picture with Dhoni while addressing him as ‘Mr Sweetie’. Sakshi can be seen craving for attention while Dhoni is resting on the bed. “Times when you crave attention from #mrsweetie,” wrote Sakshi while sharing the picture on Instagram.

Earlier, Sakshi had also shared some breathtaking stills of the sunset from their house. Amid the lockdown, the pollution has reduced in a drastic way and has enhanced the environment even more. “The most beautiful part of the day,” Sakshi had written while sharing the sunset still on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Dhoni was last seen on the 22 yards during India’s defeat against New Zealand in the semi-final of 2019 World Cup. Post the World Cup, the former India skipper opted for a two-month sabbatical and followed it up by making himself unavailable for selection.
Dhoni was seen in the training camp of Chennai Super Kings a few weeks ago before the start of IPL 2020. He was looking in good touch before the start of the tournament. However, considering the current situation across the world, cricket fanatics will have to wait a little longer to see MS Dhoni back in action on the field.
