India and Australia are battling out for the top spot in ODI rankings. After losing the Test series to India earlier in the year the Aussies are back to battle it out for the top spot, yet again. However, the start for Australia in the series has been a poor one. They bowled well but their batting department failed to put in a decent effort.

Australia started really well with the ball but once Hardik Pandya and MS Dhoni struck a partnership, it was all glum for them. All the hard work done to that point was washed away by some brilliant batting striking by Pandya. They had a chance to win it with the chase, but India didn’t even let them sniff a win. Their batting failed miserably against the Indian spinners.

That said, the Australians would like to get back to the board and assess themselves before coming back on the field. And putting the loss behind them is the first task. To deal with it, some of the players have preferred to spend time with the family. David Warner is one such player. He has his family travelling with him almost everywhere and especially to India where he also plays the IPL for almost two months.

Mrs Warner goes sightseeing

Candice Warner tweeted about going sightseeing with her children. Her husband takes on India on Thursday at Eden Gardens in Kolkata and that’s where Candice is. She posted about her trip to the historic Victoria Memorial which is one of the tourist attractions in the city.

Judging by the tweet it was one of many locations Mrs Warner explored. She tweeted, “Today we did some sightseeing around Kolkata. First stop was the very beautiful Victoria Memorial. #india.” Looks like someone is in love with India already.
