MS Dhoni and family move to their new residence in Ranchi

Be it Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat, Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa or Mukesh Ambani’s Antilla, every renowned personality in the country has their own iconic shelter. Celebrities in this country are treated as gods and their homes as a city landmark. Former Indian captain MS Dhoni too shall not stay behind as he recently moved into his would be iconic farmhouse Kailashpati, on the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritiya.

Even though he was missing from the housewarming ceremony, Dhoni is scheduled to move in after the end of the IPL. The Ranchi superstar currently is playing for the Rising Pune Supergiant franchise in the IPL, who are fourth in the table and have a chance to qualify for the playoffs.

If reports are to be believed, Kailashpati boasts state of the art facilities like indoor stadium, swimming pool, world-class gym and net practicing fields. If these luxuries were not enough, the farmhouse would also host a five-star hotel inside the premise.

The masses are already aware of the humble beginnings of Mahendra Singh Dhoni which is described in detail in his movie MS Dhoni, the Untold Story. Before his new lavish home, Dhoni used to put up at a three-storey grand resident in Harmu, Ranchi. He moved to his previous residence back in 2009.

MS Dhoni’s family comprises of father Paan Singh Dhoni, mother Devaki Devi, wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni and daughter Ziva along with three dogs. Their new residence is a piece of inspiration for one and all. Before making it big on the international stage, Dhoni and his family used to put in small quarters of MECON Colony situated in Doranda area in Ranchi.

About 10 months back, on his birthday, the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman planted the first tree at the lavish farmhouse. He posted the image on his Facebook page by captioning, “What could be the best way to celebrate my birthday, planted the 1st and very spl tree at the farm house KAILASHPATI”.
