MS Dhoni fulfills a young fan's wish in Ranchi

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, India’s limited over skipper, gave one of his fans a moment to cherish for a lifetime after the star cricketer himself came up to the individual and snapped a picture together. There was a huge buzz in Ranchi when MS Dhoni landed in his hometown ahead of the fourth India against New Zealand ODI last month.

The local lad received a thunderous welcome as he walked out of the airport. There was a hustle among fans to catch a glimpse of the Ranchi’s favourite son throughout his stay in the city. Unfortunately, India lost the match to New Zealand but fans were not at all dejected. Dhoni made sure that he left the venue in grand style after the match and he drove away in his hummer while fellow Team India members travelled by team bus.

While he was heading to Ranchi airport as he had to reach Mumbai, Dhoni’s fan Aaradhya, driving a two-wheeler, spotted him and chased his hummer. The young fan, who managed to reach the airport in time, then called out Dhoni and attracted his attention. Initially, the security refused to let her come in but Dhoni asked his security personnel to allow her to meet him. The fan got her dream of meeting her favourite cricket star and also retuned with a smiling selfie with Dhoni.

MS Dhoni, who now plays only in the limited overs format, will be out of action till January when the team will go out to play the visitors England.
