MS Dhoni shares an incredible picture of a tiger from his visit to Kanha National Park

While being away from the sport, the former Indian skipper never fails the opportunity to enthral his fans on social media.

After Team India’s drubbing in the ODI series against New Zealand, MS Dhoni’s name sparked yet again as most fans demanded the inclusion of the former India skipper in the squad. An unlucky run out in World Cup 2019 semi-final– stint with Indian Army– making public appearances amid retirement speculations– training with Jharkhand’s Ranji squad– the 38-year-old has been involved in a plethora of instances after deciding to be away from the game.

The former India skipper has not played any competitive game since the World Cup semifinal in July. As of now, there is still no clarity over when will he don the Indian jersey. In fact, there are also apprehensions that the prolific wicket-keeper batsman might not even earn another recall from the national team after his name was omitted from BCCI‘s central contracts list.


While being away from the sport, the former Indian skipper never fails the opportunity to enthral his fans with his social media posts. Recently, Dhoni was spotted visiting the Kanha Tiger Reserve. He also shared a stunning picture of a tiger which he spotted amid the woods and termed his trip to the tiger reserve as ‘outstanding’.

“When u spot the tiger on ur own and he obliges u with just enough time to click a few pics. Visit to kanha was outstanding,” wrote Dhoni while sharing the picture on his Instagram.

Despite being out of the Indian side for more than six months now, Dhoni’s massive fan-following fails to decline. The World Cup-winning skipper always garners much attention across social media through photos of his public appearances.

Recently, Dhoni’s wife Sakshi had also shared a hilarious video of the Chennai Super Kings skipper while pulling his leg. Sakshi was seen teasing Dhoni by calling him ‘sweetie’ in the video. “At least look at me,” she says before asking, “Why is my sweetie not looking at me?. He’s so cute, no?,” Sakshi was heard as saying in the clip.

Dhoni, who is known for his witty replies, had hilariously responded to Sakshi by saying that she was pulling his legs only to increase the number of followers on Instagram.

The wicketkeeper-batsman, who was one of the stalwarts of India’s limited-overs squad, is expected to don the Chennai Super Kings jersey for the upcoming season of Indian Premier League. It will undoubtedly be a treat for all the fans to witness Dhoni back on the field after a long period of time.
