MS Dhoni The Untold Story: Dhoni’s biopic release postponed to September 30

“MS Dhoni – The Untold Story”, the much-awaited biopic on MS Dhoni, will now release on September 30 instead of September 2. The makers took the decision to present the film in the “best way.”

“It was a unanimous decision to release the film on September 30. This would give the team some more time to present the film to the audiences in the best way.

“We did not want to compromise on the visual experience that Neeraj Pandey is set to create with this movie,” Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios, said in a statement.

The first look of MS Dhoni’s biopic has been released on March 19 during the high-octane World T20 India-Pakistan clash this year.

The biopic is directed by Neeraj Pandey. The biopic is one of the most anticipated movies of the year and the fans of the Indian limited overs captain are eagerly waiting for the movie about the life of one of the most successful Indian captains ever.

Sushant Singh Rajput plays MS Dhoni’s character in the biopic. The movie also has Kiara Advani playing Sakshi Dhoni and Anupam Kher playing Dhoni’s father Pan Singh. Apart from this, Herry Tangri will play the part of Yuvraj Singh, Dhoni’s closest friend.

Dhoni has always been a youth icon in India since debut with his batting and hair style. As the film promises, untold stories from his cricketing and non-cricketing career is expected to inspire many more to live their dream.
