MS Dhoni’s luggage gets swapped with another passenger’s at Kolkata airport

MS Dhoni is thoroughly enjoying his time away from the game of cricket it seems, as he has been indulging in some of his guilty pleasures. Recently, he participated in a tennis tournament in Jharkhand and won the doubles’ trophy with his partner. Dhoni has also been spending his time riding his vehicles and bikes on the roads of Ranchi as well.

He has also cleared that he won’t be answering any questions on his India return till January of 2020. Meanwhile, India is backing Rishabh Pant to the hilt as the first-choice wicketkeeper with eyes on the 2020 T20 World Cup to be held in Australia. Hence, the former India skipper is seen spending time with his family and friends.

Meanwhile, his trip to Kolkata didn’t start well as his luggage was misplaced and swapped with some other passenger when he touched down at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata on Monday. Sources by timesnownews.com reported that the former India captain’s goods and chattels had been mistakenly swapped with another passenger.

Dhoni was reportedly carrying someone else’s luggage after deboarding his flight from New Delhi. He was informed about the incident by the airlines. The concerned authorities are treating the misfortunate incident of baggage exchange involving Dhoni as a rare case of mismanagement which could have occurred due to operator malfunction. But the airline has denied that there was a lapse in error or any mistake from their end.

Recently, Twitter India termed Virat Kohli’s heartfelt birthday wish for the World Cup-winning captain as the most retweeted sports tweet of the year 2019. “Happy birthday mahi bhai @msdhoni. Very few people understand the meaning of trust and respect and I’m glad to have had the friendship I have with you for so many years. You’ve been a big brother to all of us and as I said before, you will always be my captain,”

Virat Kohli wrote in his tweet. The tweet consisted of both the cricketers in their India blues smiling after winning a match, which was retweeted over 45k times and liked close to 414k times.
