Cape Town Blitz continued their winning streak by defeating the Jozi Stars in Johannesburg by 62 runs and bagged a bonus point as well. The Cape Town side has won all the four matches they played and will be looking for one more. However, after the win against Jozi, the Blitz have about 16 hours of time before they face Paarl Rocks in their 5th game. In this time, they will be travelling from Johannesburg to Paarl as well.

Contrary to the Cape Town team, the Paarl Rocks have played only two games and lost in both after conceding 200+. They looked like chasing down the total in the first game before losing by only one run. They played both the matches at their home and the coming game will also be played there. The Paarl team will be boosted by the inclusion of Faf du Plessis, Aiden Markram and Tabraiz Shamsi who will be making their MSL debut in the game against Cape Town.

Match Details:

The 11th match of the Mzansi Super League will be played between Paarl Rocks and Cape Town Blitz at the Boland Park in Paarl.

Pitch Condition/Report:

Both the games played at the Boland Park in Paarl witnessed 200+ scores and the 3rd game might witness yet another high-scoring one. The venue is a good one for the chasing sixes as the five of the last six T20 games played before the MSL were won by teams batting second only.

Quinton de Kock, Farhaan Behardien, Janneman Malan, Henry Davids, Faf du Plessis, Asif Ali, Andile Phehlukwayo, David Wiese, Dane Paterson, Dale Steyn, Anrich Nortje.

Captain and Vice-Captain Selection:

Multipliers can be around Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis and Henry Davids. De Kock and Davids showed what damage they can do in the previous matches while Faf has been in good form recently. Janneman Malan and Anrich Nortje can be vice-captain given their consistent performances in this tournament so far.

Expert Advice:

There is a decent chance of Cape Town Blitz making changes to their squad as they play twice in the space of 24 hours in two different cities. To add to their problem with tight scheduling, they will be playing on Tuesday but will have a day game.

Probable Winners:

Cape Town Blitz could continue their winning streak but a stronger Paarl Rocks could put the breaks.
