Mumbai T20 League is definitely the beginning of a beautiful tomorrow: Sachin Tendulkar

After the great successful recognition story all over the globe of the Indian Premier League (IPL), many such state cricket association are following the same trend of organizing State T20 Leagues. So in the recent years, various competitions have been introduced such as the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) and the Karnataka Premier League (KPL).

Another such tournament will be organized by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) in this year, from March 11 to March 21 at the classical Wankhede Stadium. Former Indian cricketer and the hometown legend Sachin Tendulkar is the brand ambassador for the T20 Mumbai League also marked his presence at a celebratory meet held at Taj Lands End.

The resembling event was hosted by Probability Sports India Private Limited, which is a consortium of Probability Sports and Wizcraft. The star guest present at the programme included the President of MCA, Ashish Shelar, Yatin Shah, who is the Founder and Executive Director, IIFL Investment Managers and Kadar Makani, CEO, Probability Sports. It is expected to be an energetic and paradigmatic start to the inaugural edition of the T20 competition.

The Master Blaster will be playing the ambassador’s role in the upcoming exciting tournament, where many of the cricketers from his hometown city would be getting the opportunity to depict their abilities and talent at such a huge stage. Star Indian cricketers Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane are expected to be star personalities in the charismatic contest.

During the celebratory event, Sachin also revealed that he feels honoured to be associated with the T20 league and it will be a great moment to motivate and channelize the players through this city-based tournament. He also reckoned the league as a new and an innovative beginning towards the future.

“Being associated with the T20 Mumbai League and motivating these young players is an honour for me. The Mumbai brand of cricket is iconic and has stood the test of time through decades. This being home, Mumbai has a very special place in my heart. Training, supporting and preparing emerging cricketers through platforms such as the T20 Mumbai League will help Mumbai and also India stay on the top in cricket. This league is definitely the beginning of a beautiful tomorrow!” said Tendulkar during the celebratory program as quoted by the Asian Age.
