Mustafizur Rahman of Bangladesh has been a sensation for some time now. He makes it difficult for the batsmen to pick his deliveries and get him away for runs. He is not just creating worry for the batsmen, but also for the umpires to adjudicate the leg-before decisions.

Mustafizur always sticks to the middle-stump line. Some of the umpires, officiating in the tournament, revealed that the excessive movement of the pitch is making it difficult for them to make their decision.

Mustafizur possesses a lot of variations as well, by rolling his fingers across the ball and bowling deadly cutters. Nicknamed ‘The Fizz’, he has been one of the most successful T20 bowlers in the last 12 months or so. “He has a plenty of variations and can move the ball at will. He can also bowl very effective cutters and his general line is either off-side or leg-stump. He isn’t a middle-stump bowler,” a match official explained it to TOI on Thursday.

Apart from all of these swinging deliveries, slower deliveries, and cutters, he also possesses a great art of bowling the yorker at around the 140 km/hr mark, which makes him very difficult to play.

Even his international teammates find it hard to read his deliveries. Bangladeshi batsman Anamul Haque Bijoy said that he has been playing Mustafizur for the past couple of years but the young pacer still has all the Bangladeshi batsmen guessing.

He is a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Fizz has 13 wickets against his name in 11 IPL appearances so far at an average of 20.61 with a strike-rate of 18.92.
