Indian skipper Virat Kohli seems to be enjoying leisure time off the field after playing a lot of cricket in the recent past. The World Test Championship final was followed by the Test series against England, the second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL), and eventually the recently-concluded T20 World Cup 2021.

With Kohli participating in all these events, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) found it best to rest him for the ongoing three-match T20I series against New Zealand. Kohli also seems to be having fun in his break and the same is evident in his recent social media activities. The Indian skipper has been sharing pictures frequently, keeping his fans updated. Meanwhile, Kohli, in his latest Instagram post, expressed love towards his wife Anushka Sharma.

In the super adorable snap, the power couple can be seen posing in funky faces. The duo is twinning in white and fans can’t help but get couple goals. ‘My rock,’ Kohli captioned the picture alongside a red-heart emoji. Needless to mention, the comment section got flooded in no time as fans yet again praised the couple for celebrating each other.

Virat Kohli’s special message for AB de Villiers

Speaking of Kohli’s recent social media activities, the talismanic cricketer shared a heartfelt messaage for AB de Villiers, who bid adieu for all forms on cricket on Friday (November 19). Having sharing the Royal Challengers Bangalore dressing room since 2011, Kohli and De Villiers have built a strong bond over the years and that was evident in the former’s post.

“You’ve given everything to RCB and I know that in my heart. What you mean to this franchise and to me cannot be put into words. The Chinnaswamy Stadium will miss cheering for you and I’m going to miss playing alongside you my brother. I love you and I’ll always be your number 1 fan. G.O.A.T @abdevilliers17,” wrote Kohli alongside sharing a picture with a 37-year-old.

Meanwhile, Kohli will return to action in the second and last Tets against New Zealand, which will get underway on December 3 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Alongside the T20I series, Kohli has been rested for the first Test as well. Ajinkya Rahane will lead the team in his absence.
