1. Virat and AB’s partnership of 229 against Gujarat Lions(2016)

The legendary duo wreaked havoc against Gujarat Lions in the year 2016. It was considered to be one of the greatest partnerships in T20 cricket. They both scored centuries and it was the first instance of two centuries being scored in an innings for the first time in the IPL.

When Virat and AB bat together, it often is a symphony. AB was on song from the ball one and Virat joined the party. Both hit all the Gujarat bowlers all around the park creating a historical partnership of 229 runs between them. RCB scored 248/3 and the Virat-AB partnership contributed 229 off 16 overs between them.
