Nasser Hussain reckons this 17-year old will be a superstar for team India

Team India is renowned for producing young geniuses in the cricket field. At a very young age, some of the cricketers get the best possible exposure in the world cricket that gets them ready for the future. And in the recent times, this growth has expanded its wings to the other team in Blue, the India Women. Young Mumbai cricketer Jemimah Rodrigues is arguably the most popular young name in the India Women team at the moment.

Ever since her herculean efforts in the cricket circles of Mumbai, Jemimah Rodrigues has become a big name among the eves playing the sport. His excellent show in the domestic circuit recently fetched her the international cap as well. She toured with the Indian team to South Africa and had a very decent time in her first overseas tour.

Furthermore, she was retained in the Indian side for the limited overs fixtures against England and Australia recently. She looks like a player for the future and is a great player in the making. Well, at least, former legendary cricketers think so. Former English captain Nasser Hussain recently took to micro blogging site Twitter to shower praises on Jemimah Rodrigues.

He shared an update with the fans wherein he remarked that she is a very talented cricketer. Nasser went on to quote that she will be a big star for team India in the future. Apparently, Nasser had a good throw down sessions with Jemimah and he was very impressed with the way she batted in the practice sessions.

For the fact, Jemimah is the youngest centrally-contracted players with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). She has played 3 ODIs and 9 T20Is for India Women already. She has a fifty to her name in the shortest format, a knock that had come against Australia Women recently.
